As Karen and I begin retirement, we are realizing the need to be in shape. With all the craziness of the move to our new home, we have gotten out of our workout routine. It’s time to start getting ourselves back in shape. We started to walk our neighborhood in the evening. We have also learned that there are bicycle paths along the Kaslaskia River. We’ll check those paths out this weekend.  In addition to getting some exercise, it also allows us to meet new neighbors. Enjoy the information below and let us know what you think.

Aside from our exercise goals, we practice various techniques to address mind and body needs. Karen as a massage therapist has a large variety of practices she uses for wellness care. I practice a form of Qi Gong called Soaring Crane.
